When We First Met (Immy/Adam)

It was Immy's 26th birthday ball. Royalty from all over the world were attending and many other people as well. So far Immy had danced with over 20 other prince's and hadn't felt a spark with any of them. Immy was sat next to her mother.

"Mom, I don't know how much more I can take." Immy sighed.
"Chin up darling." her mother smiled.

Adam smiled as he walked up to her.

"May I have this dance, Princess?" He kissed the back of her hand

Immy's eyes met his. My God was she a sucker for blue eyes.

"Erm, yes...yes you may." Immy smiled as she stood up. She winked at her mother and she grinned back.

Adam smiled and led her to the dancefloor.

Immy smiled at him.

"So...hi I'm Imogen." she smiled.

"Hi, I'm Adam." he smiled back

"Nice to meet you....I've not seen you here before....first time?" Immy asked as she took his hand.

"Yeah, I'm from America, I've been out of the country with my dad before, but I've never been to a ball." Adam said

"Oh you're the president's son. Well I must say for someone who's never been to a ball before you certainly dance like an expert."

"Yes, and thank you." Adam blushed lightly

"Would you mind if I said you're cute when you blush?"

"No, I wouldn't mind." He chuckled

"Well that's good because Adam, you are very cute when you blush."

Adam laughed, "Well, thanks again."

"I'm really sorry...I'm in love with your eyes...they're like saphires."

"Oh, you." He said, "You're just plain gorgeous."

Imogen blushed.

Adam smiled.

"You're so distracting! And when I get distracted I get clumsy."

"Don't worry, I find clumsiness cute, when it's not purposely of course." Adam said

"You'll find me drop dead gorgeous then."

Adam chuckled again

"So, do you have anyone special back in America?"

"Sadly, no." Adam sighed, "But oh well."

"I know exactly how you feel."
